John Deere Agile JourneyJohn Deere began their Agile journey many years ago. The focus on Scrum@Scale began in 2018. They started with building strong scrum teams (more on that model here [insert video link when available]). In 2020 they expanded their use of Scrum@Scale to improve focus and delivery for high priority initiatives. For this talk the speakers, Marcie Kingery and Jen Olderog, will share how John Deere is focused on improving prioritization across the organization and how this focus enables us to simplify and in some cases eliminate the need for a formal scaled framework. They will also share examples of where scaling was needed and which strategies were used for each scenario. |

The Challenges of Product ManagementOrganizations commonly invest a considerable amount of time, people and resources in their product delivery teams and infrastructure with far less effort applied into the product organization. That leads to: • Inexperienced Product Ownership. • Large amounts of waste. • Increased decision latency. • Invisible work. • Features that are seldom, if ever, used. • Poor return on investment (ROI) • The belief that output equals to outcome So, how can we avoid all of these? In this session, Luiz “Q” Quintela will discuss his experience with Product Organizations and bringing products to the market. Even if you don’t create commercial products or are still project based, you will benefit from this talk. |
